This is a scene from C. S. Lewis' 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. In this scene Edmond is trying to explain to the witch why he has not brought his siblings with him. This digital painting was done from a pencil sketch. The sketch was then scanned into Painter 4 and painted using the soft chalk brush variant. Painter 6 was later used to 'tweak' the first illustration.
